“Back to the Future” star Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd reunite at New York Comic Con

“Back to the Future” fans were furious on Saturday when the actor Michael J Fox61, and Christopher Lloyd, 83, reunited on stage at New York Comic Con.

The sci-fi comedy duo, which began 37 years ago, were seen hugging each other at the start of a panel. According to SYFY.com, the two recounted their roles as Marty McFly and Doc Brown.

“I cherish these moments! Thank you @newyorkcomiccon, my dear friend @realmikejfox, and most importantly all you amazing fans who show up year after year. It’s all because of you! It’s overwhelming !” Lloyd posted on his Instagram.

As SYFY.com reports, Fox spoke to fans about being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991, when he was 29.

“You guys have given me your whole life,” Fox said. “The best thing that happened in my life was this. Parkinson’s is a gift. I’ve told people it’s a gift and they say, ‘You’re crazy.’ I say, ‘Yes, but it is the gift that keeps on taking.’ But it’s a gift and I wouldn’t exchange it for anything… It’s not about what I have, it’s given to me.”

In 2023, New York Comic Con is scheduled to be held October 12-15 at the Javits Center in New York City.
