BLACKPINK’s Rose Doppelganger Is Now The Internet’s New Viral Sensation

BLACKPINK’s Rosé looks alike and now everyone is talking about the same thing! Yes, you heard right. Recently, a Thai TikToker drew attention due to her striking resemblance to the K-pop idol. The TikToker teenager, who goes by @paerploytae, hails from Thailand and started posting videos in March 2021. However, it was only in the months of August and September of this year that her account went viral for obvious reasons.

Thai TikToker has now become an overnight viral sensation, especially in South Korea. Popular giant online communities like TheQoo and Nate Pann have collected the videos that capture the similarities between her and BLACKPINK’s Rosé. Netizens have pointed out multiple similarities between TikToker and Rosé and have affectionately dubbed the former Rosé-Gongie. The name is a twisted version of the name of a popular YouTuber Minseogongie who had previously gone viral due to his resemblance to actor Park Bo Gum.

The BLACKPINK member was recently spotted at Paris Fashion Week hanging out with a who’s who from the celebrity world. She, along with her partner Jisoo, headed to Paris on September 26, 2022, ten days after her big comeback with BORN PINK. The two K-pop stars are the faces of multiple luxury brands and represent them as their global ambassadors. They were invited to Paris Fashion Week respectively. Speaking of Jisoo, she too looked stunning sitting front row for Dior Spring Summer 2023 alongside Natalie Portman.

BLACKPINK’s Rosé proved to be the star of the Yves Saint Laurent Show along with many other big-name celebrities. Anthony Vaccarello, the Creative Director, has always shown his affection towards the BLACKPINK member and also walked with her at the 2022 Met Gala. Rose sat down at the crux of the event in profile and shared photos from their special night under the Eiffel Tower while He was wearing an impressive black outfit.


BLACKPINK’s world tour is scheduled to start on October 15, 2022. For the inexperienced, the first two dates will take place in Seoul, South Korea. The lengthy tour will reportedly continue until June 2023, during which the group will make stops in Asia, Europe, Australia, and North America. The members recently made a massive comeback with their full-length album BORN PINK. Also, the pre-release track Pink Venom and the title track Shut Down have garnered a huge response from music lovers.
