Brad Pitt’s Lawyer Responds To Recent Angelina Jolie Abuse Accusations And Calls Them False

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are currently making headlines due to their ongoing legal battle. Recent court documents reportedly showed Jolie accused her ex-husband, Pitt, of a choking-and-hitting incident involving their children on the road in a private plane in 2016. Now, Brad Pitt’s attorney has opened up about the whole thing and called it a ‘personal attack’ on the actor.

Statement from Brad Pitt’s attorney

Brad Pitt’s current attorney, Anne Kiley, spoke about the legal matter for page six and stated that the actor would not take any responsibility for anything he has not done following the recent accusations of Angelina Jolie. The lawyer further added that Pitt owned everything he was responsible for, unlike the ‘other side’. In addition, the actor’s spokesman also called the allegations false after Angelina Jolie’s new court documents detailed multiple allegations of abuse against him.

Brad Pitt’s attorney also said that the actor is currently on the receiving end of personal attacks and misrepresentations. Kiley further maintained that, despite what is said on the other side (Jolie’s side), the public authorities had made independent decisions. The lawyer also added that Brad Pitt will continue to respond in court as he has done so far.

Angelina Jolie’s accusations

Angelina Jolie reportedly filed court papers accusing Brad Pitt of drunkenly assaulting her and her children during a plane ride in 2016. The incident reportedly led her to file for divorce from the actor. Her countersuit comes after Pitt sued the actress in February for selling her stake in one of his French wineries, claiming her agreement stated that neither would sell the same without the other’s consent.

The alleged court document specifies an alleged incident that occurred on a private plane on September 14, 2016, five days before the actress filed for divorce alleging that her ex-husband assaulted her and their children. The actress also alleges that the actor argued with one of her children, who were between 8 and 15 years old at the time. Jolie also accused Pitt of verbally abusing her and claimed that he grabbed her by the head and shook her from her as well. He then allegedly grabbed her by the shoulders and pushed her against the bathroom wall of the private plane.
