After several attempts, NASA has launched the Artemis program this Wednesday, November 16, from Cape Canaveral (Florida). It aims to explore deep space and send manned missions to the Moon thanks to the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft.
NASA indicated in its blog that “For its return trip to Earth, Orion will perform a departure burn to perform another close flyby approximately 100 kilometers from the lunar surface.
