NYPD arrest homeless, advocates in move
The NYPD jailed two homeless people and also their advocates that had secured a handful of homeless people from being eliminated from a small encampment. The crackdown becomes part of Mayor Eric Adams’ strategy to rid his city of individuals staying in the streets. (April 7)
