Saturday Night Live just returned, but more than the excitement, it raised eyebrows at its content. He just so happened that the show reportedly poked fun at some of the recent celebrity scandals. Miles Teller, who made his Studio 8H debut, is the host of the game show titled Send Something Normal. The show challenges four famous male contestants to respond to flirty direct messages on Instagram in a “normal” way. Well, the NBC comedy show doesn’t stop here because it brings in Adam Levine and Armie Hammer played by Mikey Day and James Austin Johnson respectively as contestants. They were joined by Bowen Yang as himself and astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson played by Kenan Thompson.
The show starts with the Maroon 5 frontman acknowledging that he’s bad and then responding to one of the Instagram posts which turns out to be wrong. Then it’s Armie Hammer’s turn, who requests a grand welcome back to Hollywood. He then says, “Look, I know there’s been a lot of talk about me in the press, but I’ve done a lot of work on myself and I’ve changed. So I have my message. I want to break your bones and take out your marrow. In the end, none of the contestants were able to win the $100 million grand prize.”
Adam Levine recently made his first public appearance amid the DM scandal and cheating drama following the Sumner Stroh allegations. He performed with the band Maroon 5 in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Speaking of the singer, he took to the stage at the MGM Grand Hotel over the weekend as part of a benefit gala directed by Shaquille O’Neal that was also attended by Logan Paul and other celebrities. Adam Levine’s wife, Behati Prinsloo, who is currently pregnant, was also seen attending the event. According to the latest reports, she was also seen joining the singer backstage. She also reportedly joined him for another charity event.
Sumner Stroh, an influencer, shared a viral video on TikTok and claimed to have had a year-long affair with the Animals singer. Although Stroh did not provide details about the period of his affair, he shared screenshots of his direct messages with the singer and added that the duo has not spoken since April. Stroh further admitted that he wanted to wrap things up in private, but had to come out because one of his friends threatened to leak the DMs to a tabloid. Adam Levine denied the claims in a lengthy Instagram post later, but added that he may have crossed the line during an unfortunate period in his life.
