Will BTS perform at the 2022 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony?

There is good news for all BTS fans. Some recent reports suggest that the K-pop group will be performing at the opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup! As published in one of the reports, “It may be possible to deliver awesome news to BTS fans in a few hours. There are rumors from various sources that [BTS] will perform during the opening ceremony of the Qatar World Cup in front of 60,000 people”. He further added, “BTS is the biggest boy band in the world. The ‘FIFA World Cup’ is the most important event in football. Once it starts, it becomes a world-immobilizing event.”

BTS’s previous surprise

The official anthem of the 2022 FIFA World Cup is one of the most anticipated parts of the impressive event. Not only that, but several tracks have already been released as a world cup event. Among them are Hayya Hayya (Better Together) from Trinidad Cardona, Davido and AISHA, and Arhbo from Gims and Ozuna.

Recently, the renowned Hyundai Motor Company revealed that they will be releasing BTS’ Yet To Come (new version) with the Bangtan Boys for their ‘Goal of the Century’ campaign. Not only that, but the South Korean automaker has also given an intriguing sneak peek of said music video on Instagram. This is how the post was captioned: “Warm up, stretch your legs, and get ready to dance along with BTS and their new edition of “Yet to Come.” Stay tuned!”

The progress of the company

The company also shared a preview of the music video on YouTube, much to the Army’s excitement. The preview has already gone viral on social media with around 1.5 million views in 24 hours. Hyundai also revealed that the video will be released on September 23, 2022 on Apple Music, Spotify and the company’s YouTube channel.

As promised, the world got to see BTS’s Yet to Come (Hyundai Version) on the scheduled date. The MV is titled Goal of the Century x BTS | Still to come considering the company’s campaign.
