WhatsApp has started rolling out the ability to add up to a thousand participants to group chats, a feature that Now available to some beta testers version for iOS and Android.
In June of this year, the company announced that it was already possible to create groups with up to 512 participants, a feature that reached not only the mobile version of the application, but the desktop mode as well.
Until then, WhatsApp only allowed creating groups of up to 256 participants, which were reflected in the group information section. Furthermore, with this expansion, the ‘app’ provided users with an opportunity to add more people from this location once they became a group.
Now WABetaInfo has indicated that the instant messaging application has again raised the limit for participants in conversations, as they can now Create groups of up to 1,024 people.
The portal has realized this new capability when moving forward to group creation, where previously it had 512 in the ‘Add Participants’ space, now number has been changed,
Most users have not yet been able to test this new feature, as it is only available to some beta testers of the Meta service, on both iOS and Android,
